Use this skill when the user asks to inspect or manage Google Cloud projects, run gcloud operations, query logs, inspect metrics or traces, or work with Cloud Storage through the provider-owned MCP packages.
Setup:
- Node.js 20 or newer and the gcloud CLI must be available.
- Authenticate with
gcloud auth loginor application default credentials before tool discovery. - The upstream repository is preview and states it is not an officially supported Google product.
Workflow:
- Prefer read-only project, IAM, logging, metric, trace, and storage inspection before making changes.
- Treat create, update, delete, IAM, billing, network, deployment, and storage write operations as side-effecting operations.
- Ask for Kendr approval before side-effecting Google Cloud actions.
- Do not print service account keys, OAuth tokens, or credential file contents.
